Présentation générale

After completing my PhD on the interface between prosody, syntax, and information structure, I was appointed as a maîtresse de conférences (Associate Professor) at the Department of Linguistics at Université Paris Diderot – Paris 7 in 2004.

I am currently the Deputy Director of the Department of Linguistics. I am also managing the First Year of the Master Track Theoretical and Experimental Linguistics and Phonetics, part of the Linguistics Master Degree.

I defended my Habilitation à diriger des recherches (HDR) on the following topic: " Questioning Prosody: from sounds to discourse"

Since my PhD, my research interests have expanded to include corpus linguistics and the study of prosody acquisition in second language learning.

  • Phonetics and phonology

  • Prosodic structure

  • Prosody and its interfaces

  • Corpus linguistics

  • French as a Foreign Language (speaking skills)

  • ICT for oral language teaching

  • First and second language acquisition

  • Game based pedagogy applied to language teaching
